The search for novel treatments
in oncology encompasses identification of
relevant tumour-specific targets, design of
interventions and assessment of therapeutic
efficacy in relation to other anti-cancer
agents.
- PRECOS scientists can
collaborate either as a stand-alone service
or as part of an integrated research programme.
- Under the auspices of
a research agreement, PRECOS will ensure
that specific objectives are defined, and
the work is rapidly progressed to generate
high quality pre-clinical data facilitating
a more accurate projection of results to
the clinic.
- A dedicated, experienced
Project Co-ordinator will manage all aspects
of the research and development programme
according to specific individual needs.
- The PRECOS team of expert
scientists can assist in the selection and
execution of appropriate analytical systems
by a staged approach of in vitro studies,
in vivo model development, subsequent in
vivo mechanistic and therapeutic evaluations
and post-study analyses and deliver added
value by providing specialist scientific
interpretation of the data. Following completion
of the experimental phase, PRECOS rapidly
delivers preliminary data followed by a
draft report including statistical analyses.
A final report, agreed with the sponsor,
provides a high quality record of the work.
